Default Need help on Cragar soft 8's

About to pull the pull the trigger on some 17x8's up front and 17x9's for the rear. I already know what tire size I'm gonna run but I really need to know what rear backspacing and offset to run in the rear so they don't stick out. I'll be on a either a 4/6 or 5/7 drop with a 295/45 rear tire. Any input is appreciated other than those wheels are too heavy. Trust me I know but I'd rather put money towards more power.

My 15x10s have 6-7/8 backspacing on a 295 tire and dont stick out of the fender. 17x9s may use a little less backspacing. Sorry no help really but it may get you closer.

It does help actually. IF you're running a 6-7/8 then I think the factory 5 should be fine. What drop are you on?

What color is your truck bud? Looks really sharp. Got any pics from a distance?

Thanks man I appreciate it, the paint color is dark spiral grey metallic. Unfortunately this is the only picture I have, the truck hasn't left the garage since I bought it, just taking my time slowly but surely building it

I absolute recommend it, changed the whole look of the truck. I originally planned on doing an HD front end, I thought it would look better but I didn't feel like buying a hood and new grille haha so I settled for what had and it ended up looking better than expected

Sorry to hijack but what angle lug nuts are you guys running on your soft 8 rims? I was trying to run my stock lug nuts so that I could run my chrome GMC center caps over top of them but the rims keep eating a ring into the lug nuts. I thought the soft 8's had 60* seats just like the factory rims?

Dark spiral gray metallic is definitely the color to have.
