We all know these numbers are not accurate but it does show the hp that the motor is making. My argument isnt on the et's or the weight, its the fact that the new mopar motors are making as much if not more than the infamous ls motors. Speaking of excuses,

"he is running STOCK heads AND shortblock, just bolt ons, stall and cam AND 50 less cubes" Are these the excuses I can expect to hear as we continue to improve. Remember "YOU chose to buy the truck" with less cubes.
No excuses he asked how we are saying the dodges are slow and thats my answer. So ya'll are comparing a stroked 5.7 to a stock longblock 5.3 with a cam in it?

We chose to buy the trucks with less cubes and its STILL faster then your stroked H/C specimen you all speak of.

Im beating my head up against the wall here, Im done, these threads are the same song and dance. I dont think Ill be impressed with what the Hemi has to offer until there is a good tuning solution and even then I still believe the GenIII/IV motors will be ahead, but whatever, the fabled Hemi cant be beat. Have fun with your trucks, get back to me when a street driven Hemi gets in to the 10s.

If I ever quit working 70+ hour weeks Ill have my **** back up and running and would be more then willing to run any Hemi in/near TX and my truck is an extended cab Z71 on 35s, but the only excuses Ill be hearing are from the Hemi owner

But THAT 12.4 5.3 is faster than alot of cammed 6.0 rc trucks. Not every cam only 5.3 runs 12.4's. Same as the dodges, there are some less modded trucks that are fast. So lets use my truck for the Hemi example, looks like the chevy isnt up to par, lol
