N/A Hemi in the 12s!

i think he's refering to all the stroker motors with large cubes cammed and heads etc. alot of the scsb 5.3 guys are making their ways to 12.5's n/a with a cam/springs and pushrods being the only internal mods. i know weight isnt on yalls side along with the tuning issue.

yeah, your right, the weight and tuning is a huge disadvantage. We cant add timing at all. Increasing timing with race gas would give close to 50hp. RDhemi has no cam and no internal mods and he is running 13.3's. With a cam he would be in the 12.8-12.9 range.

right now, we have a 6.1 hemi that has been bored and stroked to a 7.0(426). We are making 563hp and 620tq with the stock 6.1 cam. With the right cam, we will be looking at 600hp/600tq. In the 300c, it dynoed at 460rwhp and 512rwtq. Once we get this in our reg cab truck with the fast xfi ecu and a 727 tranny along with a 4-link coilover suspension and dana 60, we will be in the 11's NA and 10's on spray. Stu and Scott over at thehemishop will be around that time as well, along with colt and sharadon.

Pretty cool. Keep it up guys.
It will be nice to have some competition outside the General. The SRT-10 is so few that they really aren't considered and Ford can't do anything worth talking about without a blower on it.
