ClosetRedNeck recently went 13.08 with an n/a 5.3l std. cab Z71. Dunno if he submitted the run to the FTL though.........

Yea you are right. I should have clearified. I didn't see a 4wd extended cab under 15 seconds N/A

yes there is an ecsb 4x4 5.3 that has ran high 13's, I just cant remember his name right now..

Now that's impressive That truck must weigh around 5000lbs.

It's something like 02sierraZ71_5.3 he's from NC. 13.94 was his time. Heads/cam 5.3, 3000 converter.

They make pistons for anything...called custom.

Just don't be mad when a guy who spends less on a forged 6L is running better times than you. He won't get the fastest N/A 5.3 record but he'll be faster. IS the title worth spending more to go slower
