Damn you and your DBW!!! How much do the Vette TBs run price wise? Might have to do a little DBW conversion to save some jingle. Im looking at FAST cable driven TBs used on ebay for 400 bucks. OUCHIES!

You're going to have a lot more than the cost of a FAST 90 TB tied up in converting your truck to DBW.

Well, dissapointement has struck. i went to see the truck run and pick it up and to my dismay when i got there it was still on the rack with no tranny, apperantley PI sent the wrong converter in, so i got a vette converter and that wont work. so PI is building me a new one tommorow and overnighting it to be here on saturday and the truck will be ready saturday afternoon. so hopefully i will have the truck back saturday.

On a lighter note, when they pulled the converter off the old trans, half of the input shaft fell out, like it split down the middle and fell the **** out, which sorta explains the vibration i had

You are having MTI tune you? No offense but they tune trucks VERY conservatively with LS1 edit and when I had their tune it was a BITCH to pay $75 for every retune. You could do better with the tuning but MTI does great mechanical work with a hefty price though. You won't be disappointed with their install.
