Default N/A 5.3L Record (and yes i am insane)

Alright i have decided that i want to go for the N/A record for an Extended cab 5.3L. I know i am insane but i want to run 12's all day without Nitrous. so here is my current game plan.

WCCH Milled Heads
Cam
Headers
SSR Intake
Custom Air Intake

What do ya'll think??

Forged pistons to up compression

LS2 Intake???
Custom Air Intake

I think you'll need that roll pan to lose a little weight. I don't really know but good luck with your goal!

You wont be running a 5.3 if you go with forged pistons, they only make forged pistons in 3.902(will make your engine a 347 or 5.7L) or bigger for the ls engines and you will need 6.125 rods unless you go with heavy diamond pistons, you got alot of research to do buddy

And man i really really want that roll pan. If you still have it in a week than consider it sold.

yeah well those are expensive as ****. and my plan is to go 454 on an LSX block when i hit the record.

That being said, what the hell is the complete N/A 5.3L Record. Not just extended cabs

Thats not a fun route(expensive), Ive done it twice and hopefully this is the last time

RCSB N/A 5.3=12.48
ECSB N/A 5.3=13.2s if I remember right

A fat cam, good heads(look up WCCH), high stall and some gear along with full bolt ons and good weather will get you into the 12.8 range IMO pretty easily maybe even faster. AP is hitting 12.5s with his cammed LQ9 you will have better heads then him and better intake so I dont see why you could match him assuming you run a fat stall down low to help out with the tq deficit you have over his 6.0

Just thinking out loud...
