This is going to be fun to watch, don't get broken harted when your truck don't run the times you want at first, they will come around, you will have to play with a few things and tweek a few things to make your truck run right, not every combination works like the others, well good luck.

Cmon Randy...Betcha wont. (I would love to see the first excab in the 12s NA being a 4.8 before a 5.3) Btw- I talked to Pete today. Things are gonna be coming together quite soon.

 

Remember what v8 said. Dont be suprised if things dont go well at first. I built my truck up last summer to run 12s. I got it street tuned by a reputable tuner and ran 14.20s all day long. I was pissed! Now i have a different motor, converter, cam, heads, etc. It takes a fair amount of tweaking and little things to get it just right. The key is to have patience and take it in stride. I got fed up with mine and im now just getting back into it.

Yeah i did, but your truck is ****** fast even wit the shitty second gear. hey but i got 2 out of 3 last night.

 

i told him last night that he will be accomplishing something making 12.8-12.9 with the ecsb 5.3 N/A. the truck is on a z71 frame too...isnt that heavier?
