went to the local 1/8 track again... managed to pull the following times...

10" wide hoosiers and a WEAK 100 shot... (bottle was petering out)

1.9 60' times

8.3 @ 84mph... I was looking for some 8.0's or 7.9's but the track prep on Friday nights is normally **** and the bottle was giving up.... It has some 7.8-9's in it.

Did some logging in the tune this week too.... all I can say is W4M =


its got so much more left in it from a tune alone...

 

good times and they will get better with tuning and more seat time ahha good luck.

 

Even with the little 35 shot I'm runniing, a full bottle feels so much better.

the week before, it went 8.9 on street tires with no spray... 9.1 was all it could muster on slicks... I dont think going from 2.0 60's on 255/65-16 General UHP's... to 1.9's on 28x10 Hoosiers is a great improvement. A weather mod was needed for anything better than what we ended up with.

I'm disgusted with the tune in this truck as well, that doesnt help things much... its short shifting, pulling timing like crazy and absolutely dumping fuel into it...

 

Driver mod wasnt the problem... I let Extendocab run the grey goose this time out... I had to work...

 

nice times man, i have a # for the place with the tires, but i am not sure how much off the price they would be, i will get it to ya
