Default Manual brakes

For all you hardcore guys manual brake kits are coming. I sent my brake booster in to Burkhart chassis and they are coming out with a bolt in manual brake kit with or without line lock. They are waiting on the adapter plate to be finished in a week or so and I should have mine.

definitely post pics and opinions when you get these in. I have been interested in doing this for a long time and never had a kit or anyone who was willing to mess with it. Whats the ballpark figure for a setup with a linelock??

It is just a hair more expensive then the f-body version listed on thier site but that might be due to the fact that I am the first one to purchase it. I will post up pics once I get it.

I will be buying.

On second note: Do the brake still function properly if the ABS harness is unplugged but the lines still go through the ABS module?

I have been running with the abs unpluged for a while, shouldn't be a problem. I do plan on removing it in the future though. I may see if burkharts abs delete will work as well.

Called Chuck today and ordered mine. We did get to talking about the pedal ratio and possible modifications needing to be made to get it working correctly. I don't know if he mentioned this to you, but I went ahead and took some measurements and will call him tomorrow to see if we need to modify the mounting points on the pedal.

My measurements are as follows:

From pivot point to master cylinder rod: 4"
From pivot point to pedal: 12.5"

I'll let you know.
