Had a great time at the track tonight no new times though. Ran a best of 8.92 2.0 60' and .34 rt on a pro tree. I like the pro tree alot better than the one that drops down. I was having alot of traction issues in 2wd even with new tires at 15 psi, even seemed to be spinning slightly when it shifted 1-2. It was humid and finally got around 80 degrees by the end of the night, iat never seemed to drop below 115 and by the time I got to the line they were 130.

Getting my track tune with 100 nailed down the extra timing was causing alot of traction issues, didnt want to put it in 4wd so I pulled timing around the rpms I lauch from and that helped with the launching traction and times, who would of thought less power better times.

I got to demolish a turbo 300z, he was at my bumper. My arch nemesis blue mustang was there he treed me and beat my time rt .20 to my .43 and he got me by .15 et gamedawg you know the guy, guess he got tired of getting beat.

Its time for a 100 shot Im getting bored, who thinks the 60e with a kit will hold up to low 8's- high 7's in a 6000 lb truck?

Ive been trying to hit that 1.9 '60 and 8.8 again but it was just that one day I did it three time in a row with shitty tires and 93. Now Ive got new tires race gas and nothing but traction problems I think if I could hit an 8.7 nobody is gonna touch it na then its nitrous time.

 

I think youll do better than the 8.8 once the cooler air comes in

no, i wish. maybe when it gets cold and its not 85 to 90*, lol. my previous best was 13.40.
