Let me start by saying I LOVE MY STALL CONVERTER! and Holy S#it what a difference it makes.


Practice runs on the new setup went WAY better than expected. I just had a 3600 vig installed along with a fully built 4l60e.
I was hoping to just break into the 9's not go deep into them.

Well my fastest setup to date was full Bolton's (CAI,shorties,catback,boxtune,4:10's) with the stock 28.5" tires on 16" rims that weight 40lb ish it ran a best of 9.399 @76mph (1.98) in the 1/8mi. sense then I have put on some Dubs on it (20" for the older folk) with a 32.4 in tire that weights close to 100lbs each. My best with that setup netted me a 10.239 @70 (2.59) now all I have done is change to a 3600 stall and new built 4l60e that took my time to 9.585 @72 (2.162) there is alot more to be had I couldn't launch higher than 1800rpm it would break lose 1 tire I NEED A LOCKER! I want to put my 28.5" tires back on I think there is a 8.99 hiding in there for sure.
best 60' of the nite was a 2.152 not bad for a 5000lb (Race Weight) Truck with 32" tires on it.

I would have expected more from those mods, but it's good to see that you're working your way down.

 

"Update"

I went to the track again and got a 9.340@72mph (1/8mi) with a 1.96 60ft on stock tires. I am putting the LT's and New cat back this week and getting a Real Tune also I will see what it does in the next 2 weeks?

 

Just got the LT's put on still no retune done and pulled a NPB time.
1/8mi 9.198@73 (1.95)60ft its moving right along 8's here I come

 

8's are in the future with a tune.
