How much does running in 4wd hurt ET?
#11
I leave mine in 4H until im on the brakes and slowing down after the pull. I would hate to break something trying to time it under WOT going from 4 to 2.
for my truck i cut 1.7 60' in 4x4. 2 wheel is like 2.1.

Never, but 4wd to 2wd under full power a multitude of times. I've not had problems at my moderate power levels on either truck.

my truck is very consistent and I have a tracks very close to me. I will test and tune this to see if it makes a difference. If it really disengages the 4x4 the mph should pick up.

Hey Choda switching it is definitely quicker and faster but yeah you gotta pay attention so its consistent. Usually right after the 1-2 shift is good on a sticky track. Like I said earlier I've heard some complain that theirs wouldn't switch back to 2wd but my 07 did and the 14 does... hence blowing the tires off if its done too soon. I guess some year models don't IDK.
