You would have to invest a fortune in an NA engine to make it competitively fast in a truck. These days spend a few grand on a turbo/blower and you are running high 10s with a stockish engine.

I have considered swapping a few parts and going turbo. Its just a bit of money up front. Likely i will just continue on with getting the suspension done then start gathering FI parts.
I know i dont want to spend a small fortune to get it where it needs to be NA

Over the years I've had prochargers, turbo's and nitrous. Currently back with a 6.0 and nitrous. Finally got some 15" wheels and and some slicks. With some luck I'll get to the track soon. Forced induction is fun and I'll probably go back with a turbo one of these days.

I have an N/A 6.0 but not by choice. If I could afford it I would be going TVS2300......

Theres a dude who spent huge money on big cubes...he has more in his motor then some entire trucks and hell be low 10s

Same amount of money into a turbo motor you have low 8s high 7s at similar weight

He'll be low 10s and completely utterly reliable with AC blasting.

Those 8 sec trucks are probably blowing motors and head gaskets and wouldn't stand a chance in hell of making thru 100 degree rush hour traffic in Houston without melting down.

It's apples to oranges. A well thought out N/A setup still has it's place IMO.

Which it does but over 20k in a NA motor for 600 rwhp vs how many get 600 rwhp with a chinese turbo kit

Also dont see realiable 600 rwhp na that id want to daily drive...the aize of cam wouldnt be all that fun when dealing with a 4500+ converter.....trans would burn down vs the motor
