My truck is a 06 4.8 5 speed when I bought the truck It was stock but I didn't notice the problem as much until I added Longtubes and the Xr1. When shifting gears the Rpms wanna hang I've had this problem on obs 5 speed trucks and I've seen this mentioned before but never heard of what there problem was. Going to pull off TB tonight give it a cleaning guess that's first place to start. Anyone have any advise?

The truck will literally continue pulling after you let out of throttle if you accelerate hard.

 

Its the computer trying to not slam the throttle blade shut, its the dbw....sadly a normal condition...obs was probabky slipping clutch or binding throttle blade

 

Mine does the same thing between shifts it just kinda hangs for a sec or so. I noticed it after intake, exh, and tune. I swore it was somthing in the tune but BBP says everything looks perfect with the tune so I guess its just normal.

 

i had this issue on my ls6 it was a cracked intake cussing a vacuum leak, get a can of MAF cleaner and spray around the intake if the idle changes its a vac leak
