I was getting lots of attention last night, it was pretty cool. My runs were finally more consistent, I think I finally got the launch figured out. I took 4 runs, as follows. It was between 60 and 65 degrees on all 4 runs. The meth was working very well....my IAT's stayed below 100 throughout the entire run. I would sit in the staging lanes with the engine idling, e-fans on high, heater on high, and I could get the IAT's down to 88-90 and the ECT down to 138-140 to start. ECT got up to 155-160 by the end of the run, and IAT's were up to 97-99 or so. Much better than the 150 I was seeing before. 4wd launch. Weight reduction included taking off the tailgate, spare tire, all the misc junk in the bed, and two speaker boxes. I stole the tires off mom's Suburban last night, they are 265/70-16's rather than my 285/75-16's.

I am really happy with the results, that 100 mph mark is soooo close and I want it! I was lined up against a GTO first run (14.877 @ 95.53), Viper second run (12.473 @ 114.36), BMW something third run (14.963 @ 100.58) and a Nissan Skyline on the last run (13.85 @ 107.55). Beat all of them cept the Viper, although the Skyline was catching up quick towards the end. It was a great night, even got the GF to admit that racing and working on my truck was pretty cool. I think she liked the attention
Everyone was asking if that was her boyfriend's truck.

Souds like an excellent night for you! Congrats on the times too, very nice.
Maybe someday I can get my wife into this stuff too. Nice to have someone there backing you. Now get over that 100mph mark!! Soo damm close.
Did you talk with any of the people you raced afterwards? Got to be cool smoking all those rides for sure.
