Was wondering what fuel level you guys race at with stock tank setups. I still use the stock basket with two pumps and my return line flows into the basket.
I usually try and run a 1/2 a tank, but have run as low as I'd say 3/8's tank. I worry about g forces and the effect on getting fuel to the pickups.
How low do you guys go and what 1/4 time do you run.

Since you have such a large demand I wouldn't go any lower then you have.
Stock 40 gallon tank, stock pump set up, only running low 13 on nitrous I would run very very low fuel. 1/8th or less. I had much less demand but just figured I would offer my experiance.

Ever thought bout running a stand alone fuel for racing?
Small 2 gallon tank under the hood.
Thought just popped in my head haha.
I was staving my pump if i got below 1/4 but had the bottom of the bucket cut out to fit the bosch 044 pump and was only runnin a 12.5@111.
I always kept it at 1/2 tank.

That's what I was looking for, thanks Guys. I've had a few ideas, one being a small tank up front fed from the rear tank, then to pumps off it feeding the rails and return line still runs back to main tank. Then I could run 1/8th tank or so. Every gallon carried is what about 8 pounds extra.

Running 2-255 Walbros in a cut up 99-02 bucket and 60lb injectors, mine will start cutting out between 3/16-1/8 of a tank on the street so I do not like getting below 1/4 at the track. I usually try to go to the track with between 3/8-1/2.

I have a walbro 255 in the stock "modified" bucket, and used a bulkhead fitting in the lower rear of the tank to feed my second external 255. I run about 1/4 tank min. but have been caught playing around on the street with less and never ever had an issue.
