Either spend the money, or deal with the weight.

Most people have to run a line lock so that when you apply it it prevents fluid pressure from seeing the rear brakes. Let off the brake, apply the line lock, fronts work rears dont.

Has to do with some ABS systems liking the conventional way.

I installed mime traditionally with no ABS problems but I can understand possibly having ABS issues and tricking the truck.

how his is set up has nothing to do with ABS, its just how we installed it and it works just perfectly!

This would be like using your E brake to stop @ 100mph. You'd probably lock the back wheels up & bang the wall a couple of times.

The service brakes have more stooping force and are able to be controlled with much more accuracy then the e brake that is basically on and off.

I know a street bike doesn't stop very good, by just applying back brakes. I think the weight transfer would have locking the brakes up.

its on a toggle so something stupid doesn't happen. i would hate for it to cut off during a burnout. i just have to pay attention.

i have it set up so that the fluid is locked away from the rears so that i have front brakes that i can use so i can roll out of the burnout and apply the needed pressure not just on or off.

you realize you are saying all of these fast cars with no front brakes...

these are 9 second or lower cars that weight a hell of a lot less than your truck. i would bet most rear brake only cars weigh less than 3500lbs...

I called the track go to and they said they wouldn't say anything. He said I should be just fine but if I push 120-130 mph it would be about time to add shoot just for back up.

The only down side he said is if I run in a class that crossing the stage lights is disqualification. So that is the only reason many door slammers run front brakes so they have more control to not pass the stage area. I don't plan to run in a class at least for now so that isn't a big deal.
I might search for a light weight caliper and work some weight out of the rotors.

This seems to be a fine example of Darwinism in effect.
