My first time out in the 1/8th mile. RT .717, 60ft 2.46, 9.896 at 74.87 mph. What does this translate to in 1/4 mile. Approx guestimates wanted. Man do I need a stall. I couldn't launch in 4 hi either since I had my spare on one of my front tires. Its an inch shorter tire and I didn't want to mess anything up. Has anyone run the 1/8th in 4 Lo? Would this mess anything up?

Thanks. Looks like the new tranny with converter are going to come soon. Next time I go to the track I think I am going to put the stock wheels back on it. Think I might make the 2 1/2 hour drive to Palmdale and race 1/4 mile.

 

You defiantely need to get the right tire back on the truck and launch in 4HI. 4LO is a bad idea

What did you put out on the dyno? I would think you would be faster with the turbo but sometimes it takes some work and tuning to get everything dialed in. My first trip to the track was all about mid 13s with the turbo but after some serious tuning and such it got a lot faster.

 

I went to the track for the 1st time last night w/ my Av....my 1/8 time was 8.762 at 79.61mph.
I had no problem w/ 2 hi...1st run had no wheel spin...do not do 4 lo...it will not shift gears, might be good for a good 60' time, but that is it...good luck!
