I had a buddy get a few videos of mine ill throw them up when he sends them to me I had my gopro with me and just forgot to use it.

Did you get the tune redid for the current setup?

Mine ran 14.7 stock with a tune (i was learning how to tune so if you wanna call it a tune ha), CAI and a magnaflow muffler.
I ran my best times keeping it in 2nd and trapping around 6300ish i think it was... that was several years ago so im not sure.

 

I didnt make any changes, im sure the tune is way off, im gonna swap gears and put longtubes on it, then have it retuned

 

Ya I think he has that one and I'm gonna have to try leaving the truck in 2nd or 3rd when. I left it in drive it didn't run so good

 

mine slowed down leaving it in second, it shifts early into second when I do that and runs outta steam up top, ran a 15.1 @ 92 doing it that way, ran all the other passes in 3rd and they were 14s

 

ok ill have to try it in 3rd next time and hopefully better tires.

 

i would leave in third and then pull it down into 2nd after it shifted the 1-2..
Then run it out to the rev limiter and see how it does.

 

I may try that next time, I hope to have a set of 4.10s in it before I make it back out there. it shifts on its own usually around 5800. id like to put a set of stock wheels/tires on it and see how much of a differencethat makes

 

What tire size are you running now? I went from 285/50-20 to 265/60-18 and shaved .15 on average in the 1/8th.
