the first pass hot of the street was a 8.86 @78.7 w/a 2.11 60ft the second was a 8.83 @ 78.8 w/a 2.03 60ft and the 3rd was a 8.78@78.15 w/a 2.06 60 ft so all in all pretty good w/ the 5.3 i was running 9.20's at 75 and all this is with the stock predator tune which is way off on this new motor. thinking i may get some 8.40's out of it around 80 to 82 mph with a good tune then on the spray i think its gonna go low 7's or atleast mid 7's.

 

Not bad, thats good for mid 13's in the 1/4. I take it you wasn't spraying it??? This is a un camm'd 6.0 You get that thing tuned rite, you will have low 13's

yea no spray yet and no cam all stock 6.0 besides full bolt ons.and the predator tuned for the 5.3 everyone said these truck run lean with the 5.3 tune but i put the wide band on my truck last week messing with the predator and it was runnin 10.9 afr and the best i could get was 11.2 so i got hptuners with the new interface cable to run the wideband on it on the way . i think i got alot more left in it with it running so rich and its bustin out from 5k to 5500 rpm dont know if its goin to rich or what.

 

Mix in a couple gallons of E85 with the tune you have.

 

when i get back down that way i would love to run you agian. i sold my old truck but im workin on another setup now. i got my old setup with the 6.0cam only setup down to to mid 7's.

 

yea i got a cam and some l92's and vic jr on the list soon but first im gonna hit it with the 175 shot i know that will be solid mid 7's . what kinda truck did you have i have done run so many people in the last couple years its hard for me to remember?

 

i was the one with the 03 dark gray silverado. i ran a while back and you come back and posted the timeslip sayin i was on spray. look back at your threads and you will remember. your setup sounds good. i just bought a 02 silvy and fixin to through something together. i will hit you up next time im down that way. im in va right now but in about a mounth or 2 i will be either in savannah or jax fl.

 

i dont remember but i have been out so many times its hard too.and if you ran me and you was runnin low 7's i dont think so cause i have never been outrun by a truck at this track well by a 600hp lightning.
