Default First passes with 80e

First of all i want to thank Amadeo (Spike) and his crew for building my truck from the ground up they built it from bumper to bumper and built the motor in house.

Well i had asked how much slower did u all think the truck would be once we added the 80, we did the 80 with a 4400 pi converter....Took the truck to the track on friday and was very impressed not what i expected, the only thing that sucked is i could not get a hold of some slicks but still made passes on street tires......got to the track and hot laped as soon as i got there.... took of with out stalling and only going about a little less than half throttle and truck still having tons of traction issues at around the 330 mark i would floor it spinned some more but truck was moving foward quick lol.....ran a 13.2 @ 106....Second run same thing but this time i let it cool down a bit ran a 13.0@ 107, 60 ft was a shitty 2.1 and a 2.0......Very pleased with the times just cause i was in street tires, still think the truck has a very low low 12 possibly better than our previous best which is 12.0 at 108 with a 1.59 60ft

And that is the way the cookie crumbled on motor might have my cuz take it one more time for ***** and giggles and race a couple of those 5.3s n/a around here before chaning out the cam and slaping on the victor jr and spraying already.....EXPECT RECORDS once we start spraying

The 60 foot is were the 80e hurts you, with slicks and dead hooking 60e vs 80e i still think it will drop you time a little. Mine dropped from a 12.2 to a 12.5 with same converter same setup just the trans swap. But good times man cant wait to see it on the juice!

Thanks for the coments guys

Might let my cuz take to the track tomorrow with some stiky tires not expecting alot i know i is a pig out te hole with the 80...when i ran the 12.0 it was about 80 degrees outside and dam humid now we have some realy nice weather for drag racing......Truck was built for n2o that been said we want the fastest 5.3 period i know there are some 5.3s out there running pretty quick but i think it is very doable in getting to where we want to get...i wanted the NA record also but ill settle with beating the record holder in the street by about a 1-2 trucks

as far as rear i have 4.56s ad caltracs and some drag shocks that came of a buddies truckk no sure what brand tho would have to ask lol.....

Might have the truck ready with juce for the SA shootout should go in for the cage next week also and finish up with the intake and n2o kit.....going to start of with just one stg maybe a 150-200 and work up from there
