Default First pass: 05 RCSB Z71, Trick 76mm, 11.7@114

Ok guys so I went to the track the weekend before last and got a few passes in. I was waiting to get the video uploaded before I made a real post. DA was 2300ft, temps low 90s, so not ideal but also not important for the first time out. I was honestly expecting low 12s based on how the truck felt in the heat, but I was super stoked to get into the 11s on every run besides the last when it was super heat soaked (190* IATs) and actually ran a 12.00 @ 109

Anyhow, here's the 11.7 pass. The other good pass of the day was 11.8 @ 116. I started out super conservative both on launch and on boost, so the highest boost of the day was 10.8psi and I wasn't able to get any sort of decent boosted launch in, so best 60ft was 1.72. I will be installing Trick's 5" race intercooler and heading back to Famoso June 4th.

The video isn't exactly interesting, the truck is darn near silent and it took me a while to build boost at the line, but I was launching with more and more psi until the truck got heat soaked. I think if I had made a pass at night, I would have gone 1.6x and at 11.5x or so. I did put 1 full turn of preload on the Caltracs, and I set rear shocks to 9/9 stiff, and front shocks at 18/18 stiff but with how little boost I was launching at, I probably would have been fine with 100% untouched suspension.

Holy moly. I love it. Super quiet and smooth. You should be very proud of the truck.

That's awesome man! Congrats. We really need to race, it would be a perfect matchup I think. I will be there in August for Red List Group race. See if you can make it.

Thanks guys, I doubt I'd be into the 14s without this forum!

I hope to make Red List but I need to get my IATs in check first with the new Trick intercooler. I'll head back to Famoso in 2 weeks for a saturday night test 'n tune. Can't be using Red List as a test n tune hehe. Too expensive, too hot, and too many guys with sorted trucks lol. And I'm sure you'd win ... it takes me a while to spool at the line.

I saw how reliable your build was and how many miles you put on yours and thought, damn I should do something similar. Looking forward to your phase 2 results and you already got me thinking about a phase 2 myself.

I'd be very happy with that for first run.
I'm definitely stoked for the first outing. Hope to join the 10 sec club some day but it won't be easy.
