The rains let up and finally got a test & tune in.
This is the new motor and D1 ,4450 lbs , 28x11.5 ET Streets
Only got 4 passes in but pretty consistant results.

Felt like it was spinning half track, think it should do mid 7's , would like to put a bigger tire but don't think it's going to happen with out some major mods. Going to install the Edelbrock XT intake and get back there soon.

you'd be surprised how many lbs you can take off, just a question of what you want to give up.

Man are set-ups are very similar.... I told every one long as my truck breaks into the 7's in the 1/8 I will be happy. Can't wait to finish my truck up...

 

Yeah 7's were my goal and I was very happy when I hit it and can tell ya that"s moving in a truck! Really pisses off the Mustangs , Corvette guys take it in stride and are impressed.
