WOW congrats cyaz06, i was really disappointed in your dyno results but this just goes to show that dyno is just a tuning tool, nothing more. good job.

btw, do you like or dislike that cam? my cam is almost exactly the same and i'm worried that i won't be able to get it to idle tuning wise. who does your tuning? what inj's do you have? what are your thoughts on this cam, from the looks of your 1/4 times, without all the data, it looks as if it pulls real hard in the mid range but drops off up top? what are your thoughts?

Can you get a video of the idle?? Does it have any lope? Congrats on the times, if you can break 12's you'll be close to the CC record held by "Jrgnd" and his SRT-10. As far as Cheby times Micheal Tomac and his 11.95 is definetly within reach, get that sucker dialed in!! Just don't get to comfortable with the title once you get it!!!

 

I like the cam, your cam is on a 114 lsa and it will idle smoother than mine. You shouldn't have any issues. I am useing Performance dyno in Concord,NH for tuning. I have injectors rated at 68 lbs@ 58psi. I am not to sure on where the cam pulls, but I know that it pulls and makes a lot more power from mid to top end than the stock motor. I don't know how much of this maybe from the heads as well.

Ya I can have a friend help me get a video of the idle for ya. I'd like to still work on the ide though because it is at 900 rpms and I'd think it should be able to be lower, but when it is idled down it to 750rpm's you can hear the blower make a internal shattering noise every 15-30 seconds or so. When at 850 it does it less often but still does it and will stall sometime putting it in gear.
I'd love to hold that tile even for a little while as the fastest chevy/GMC crew cab. I think both you and Brian will be well ahead of me though. Atleast untill I can get a bigger blower for more than 8lbs of boost!

 

Don't forget about Dhpro and Grippy too, Their both running 6L with a MP122H's. I don't think dhpro's a CC though...not sure though.
Just a thought, Brian@JPA has that "blo-her" exchange program going on right now, not sure how long he's doing that but that's a good way to upgrade your blower for cheap!

 

Fred them are some nice #'s. Let me know when you go again. Maybe some weekend we can get those Conn. boys to come up to the track too.
