Well I went to to the track this evening and made a few passes since I swapped out my stock 5.3/stalled 60e for a lq4 isky tripple 12 cam and stock 80e and converter. I honesty thought I would be the same if now slower than my old combo because of the 80e and its heavy *** stock converter. Well I was happy to say I dropped about 3 tenths still! Best with 5.3 was 14.39 and tonight 5 minutes after pulling in the gate I pulled a 14.01 at 98.6! This is Prolly the last time ill run it till I get my kb turbo 76mm kit. What yall think?

if it was me, I wouldn't do the turbo
hahahahahahahhaha. sounds like yall got it running good! Keep in mind that 80 and stock converter suck for time slips!!!!!! Anxious to see how it does after the turbo....... since my truck is supposed to be sold today i will have to live my life through some of you other guys here for a while

Yeah Chris I'm still in shock that you selling your truck.. but life goes on and I know how it is. I'm hoping to get my truck back out to Hub city and see if I slowed down since I put my new built 80e and circle d.. at least you not selling local and we won't have to see the lownslo...

But to the op... I am still scared the 80e trans would slow me down a lot... but looking at those times it looks like that 6.0 made up for the loss and then some lol. That 76mm should do well on that 6.0.. I went 76 as well since I have a built 6.0 ready to go just to lazy to swap it lol plus the 5.3 is huntin pretty good still.
