me i ran 13.5 @100 with headers pulley efans cai 373s built tranny 228/228 custom cam 3600 stall full exausht
and on 28x10.5 hoosiers....i jus installed the nnbs intake aswell and will install 243 heads maybe p&p em to ...to see if i make a mid 12 sec pass

Well you went about it the right way. You said I am trying to be the fastest and would like to hold the record if it exists. Therfore you realise that there isnt a true record to be held but a pride in knowing you are one of the fastest 4.8s out there.

I get it and thanks man...its cus in rgv trucks there was. 4.8 that went 12.7 on motor soo i was wondering if the competion was hot over here too u get me ....
Soo i thought if rgvtp has that record then there has to be another here maybe ???

Haven't seen many people invest much in the 4.8's N/A, most swap to 6.0's if they want to go fast and stay N/A.

 

So then theres no 4.8 n/a around here fast in the 12s ??
Cus thats something u dont see everyday
plus 4.8 have a way better mpg than a 6.0 if shes ur dd lol
