Well had alot of fun at the track meet, but the truck didn't do so well, engine was making good power but had a problem with the converter or line psi in the Trans, the converter wouldn't hold any power it just flashed up and the rpm sat in the corner, it would flash to the shift point and go into second like 5 feet out then third like 400 feet out. So I had no top end and couldn't hook up at all! Best pass was 11.6@119, best mph was 121. Should of been more like 126-128 on the 19 psi. O we'll I'll get her fixed and try again.

 

You said you had issues with that converter being too loose initially right?

 

Yeah, if I can brake stall the converter all the way to rev limiter on the dirt, it's like it's not holding any power at all.

 

Ouch lol yeah i'd say it's done! Give Chris a call over at Circle D, he builds a mean 4.8L/4l80 converter.

 

Yep I'll be hooking up line psi gauge to it tomorrow (if you can) and make sure it's got full line psi, if it's the stall IM going to see if they will take it back, I'll eaither be getting a yank or circle d then. Mines a pro edge converter rated for 1200 hp it should take more all this
