Stock suspension and street tires!
JK. Tyler doesn't know anything about hooking a truck! Don't listen to that guy, lol.
I keed I keed. Sticky tire will go a long way. Caltracs help out tremendously. Pre-loading suspension.

What beau said, don't listen to me..
Phantoms video, that day was badass, we were at that spot for 3+ hours and never got ran off.
Of coarse you'll need slicks. I like assassin bars a lot better because you have a lot more adjustability. You want the front of the bars to be has high as you can get them and put in the bottom hole on the axle housing. The harder you hit it the better it hooks, to a point. And get a hold of some pimp juice..

X2 on the sway bar ! Will help level things out and help transfer more torque back to the left side. If you can afford and set up the splined bar thats the way to go. But a simple bolt-on bar with adjustable end links are way better than no bar. Hellwig makes a very easy kit that installs in a couple of hours. So many other options as well that gets those leaf springs working.

i've never done it on the street, but after last weekend, i'm a firm believer in double adjustable shocks. my first run it hit the tires too hard for a 2.0 spinning. 1 change to the extension settings on the shocks put it at 1.59. it was on a prepped track, but i'm sure it's even more important on an unprepped surface.
also, i think a lot of people over tighten their suspension components (including me in the past). everything should be able to move around freely.

Phantom's setup flat out works from what I have read and seen on YouTube. The shocks I'm looking at are the Rancho rs9000 I believe. I think Atomic runs them. Full adjustable coil overs are not in the budget right now. So Assassins are better noted/ any sway bar better than none check/ adjustable shocks and weight relocation is in the processes. OK cool. Thanks guys Ill post pics on my build when I get things moved around and welded up in the next week. If I can remove some weight I might be able to pull a tire or to......... yeah right

I've got qa1 dirt track shocks. This was on fresh asphalt and figured it would blow the tires off, hooked pretty good, still spun some.
