i ran a 10.91@122 at 13psi and a little nitrous. t76 nearly maxed out, 6.0 with a cam. turbo kit was pretty much identical to what you have. engine and tranny was about the same, converter the same. my 60 was more like a 1.68. track at 1500ft and a 50 deg night.

congrats. your doing something right!!
Thank you for that. Weather you realise it or not you helped me alot, and probably alot of others by posting, and sharing information you learned on your truck. You pioneered the turbo **** on these trucks, and put it all out in the open, for all of us to see. I respect that alot.

I really wanted to uncap the exhaust, but It was hot, and I didn't feel like getting burned. I was also afraid it might lean me out. I need to go out one of these night's and try it out. Im going to add one more meth nozzle, so it should be ok. I have a 375 I want to add.

i totaly maxed out a turbonetics t76 and couldn't run in the 10's. had to add a little nitrous to get it done. i also had a tail wind. cold night, 1500' elevation, open down pipe. like i said, he is doing something right

whats the specs on that turbo? is there drastic weight reduction on the truck or just the normal stuff?

Truck was full weight, only thing removed was the spare, and tail gate. I still have the A/C, stock bumper, hitch etc. I was also running with over 3/4 of a tank of fuel in the stock tank. Had my tools, craptop, and some other **** in the truck too. I fucked something up in the fuel bucket so If I launch with less than 2/3 of a tank it falls on it's face. Truck was around 4900LBS before the turbo, 80E, and big drive lines. Has to be at least 5000~5100 LBS. One thing I did have was I rigged up a redneck ram Air that might have healped a bit. My truck makes the most Boost in 3rd gear, and i wasn't watching the boost gauge, I had my eye on the 12.2 AFR. Da was around 7000' when I ran. Temp was about 50 deg, with a cross wind. Barometric psi was 24.4 HG.

Turbo is a water cooled Ball bearing turbonetics T76, .96AR, p wheel. It is not the normal T series, it is the next one up, but not the GTK. It was making 16PSI up hear @7000' elevation, until I ported the heads. After the heads boost droped to ~13PSI. Down in Pueblo @ 5000' It tried to hit 18psi, and I had to turn it down.
