Default Cant break into the 12's.

I can't seem to hook worth a **** after installing my 4.10's. The best 60' time I could get was a 1.95.

60" 1.95
1/8 8.3 @ 82.4 mph
1/4 13.17 @ 102.0 mph

I had plans for a TR 220 and a Vig 3400 next but that won't be going in untill get better 60" with my current set up.

My best run with 3.73 was:
13.09 @ 101.21
With a 60" of 1.87

Damn, tought you would hit 12s with the 4.10s last night. Don't worry, you'll dip into the 12s soon, just need to get the tires to hook off the line.

I was thinking... maybe with the 4.10s, a taller tire might help you get better traction... something like a 28X11.5X16? Also, are you using VHT Trackbite? If not, that might also help some.

Anyways, your truck has the potential to hit 12s just a matter of finding a way to make them tires stick. You'll get the hang of it.

btw, were you running with the caltracs on or off the truck?

Good luck Tib.

Put the caltracs back on, play with the air pressure in the tires as stated above and remove the front sway bar if you havent allready and 12's will be yours
