Had a hell of a good time at the track, weather was awesome. A lot of very nice cars were out tonight.
Anyways, since this was the last outing for the 75/74 turbo I threw everything I had at it. Removed passenger headlight and air filter (Racetruck stuff). The final pass I went into tow/haul azz mode at half track and locked the converter at 100 mph. Launches off the line were lazy intentionally, no spin. 2nd pass was hotlapped and the turbo **** itself, lost 3-4 psi from heat soak. Raceweight was 5045 per RPR's scale.

I'm feeling good, I go to leave, turn the key over and nothing! Thanks to a group of nice guys I had chatted with earlier we diagnosed the starter, I hit it with a hammer and it fired up. Pretty sure I killed it in the staging lanes, line was like a mile long and creeping along I had to start and shut down the truck like 10 times.

I don't know what's going on with IATs still, I still saw a 52* rise over the course of the pass, although the new intercooler dropped temps by 60* overall. I'm concerned that airflow is limited due to the majority of IC behind the bumper. I'm thinking the baby turbo is also off its compressor map as well.
Next turbo is a box stock s480 (80/88). After seeing gagetized results it was hard to argue against it for under $900.
ALso, take note. I gained 3 freaking mph locking the converter. That's huge.

I'll take your word on that George. I literally could feel the truck get up and go once the converter locked. RPMs dropped from 6000 to 4800, roughly thinking back on the log.
the 130 trap was the first time I actually felt the truck pulling on the back end as opposed to the lazy sunday drive feel
