Just ran it at the track tonight w/ the new gears. Ran in 4wd and spun / hopped around. I thought i was gonna break something. Next run it wasnt heat soaked anymore, but i did get some knock / spun through first (in 2wd). I ran a 14.9 at 88.33 in 2wd. 4.56's and iced intercooler kick @$$!!!

that run looked nice too. I was there also but i just watched this time. great time for 88mph,(no desrespect) what was you 60' time, I cant break into the 14s with 92mph. are you going to the track dec 1.

 

Thanks man. Yeah, i got some knock retard in the end according to efilive. I had .771 rt and 2.202 60 ft. I delayed again, but i dont get why i have such low speeds all the time. Did you see my first run in 4wd? I thought i was gonna break something and i got a little bit of spin. The second run i ran in 2wd w/ 20 psi in the rears and warmed them up a little. Still spun somewhat though. How much psi do you guys reccomend me to put them at next time? Yeah, me and all my buddies are. My fastest trap time ever was on a 16.8 second run where i didnt hook till halfway through second.

 

So I'm not the only one that runs on the track with 35" tires.

I hate the elevation at the track in vegas. I was out there running my truck for the first time and it's a 2wd RCSB hemi ram with superchips and Volant cai and I ran a best of 15.34 at 87.99. did you gusy run with your tail gates? spares? I made one pass and ran a 16.8, yes very embarresing haha some of you may have seen it and laughed at me but I tryed something new and burned out through 3rd gear. What do most trucks run out there? do you guys know any times for some trucks? I guess my 15.34 is not THAT bad being this was my first time ever running anything.....


oh yeah, track elevation is 2200FT.

 

I run w/ tailgate on, spare in stock location. I was tempted to even throw some more weight back there to hold it down.

 

hey blown02, what highschool did you go too? or do you go too? I think i've seen that truck around henderson but not quite sure where.
