I'm trying to do a little research for when I buy some sticky tires later. I have all the mods in my sig below, and I will also have an ls9 cam and UD pulley in the very near future (already have them, just need to install). The question is... with a 6 speed and 3.42 gears, what would be the best size tire for my setup? Im assuming that a 26" tire will make me shift into 4th at the end of the 1/4, but if i go with a 28" tire will i able to go through the traps at the top of 3rd gear? Looking for advice on what would be best. Thanks.

Oh, and any guesses on what my truck will run are appreciated as well.

 

last year I ran a 12.97 on my 305/45/18 nitto NT05R drags not the best but did ok averaging 13.10s and 13.20s but by removing my tonneau cover passenger seat rear seats and tail gate i ended up hitting a 12.97 lol my mods @ that time were a custom VVT comp cam, LTs, CAI,4'' exhuast and tuned, ima guess 13.30s with that LS9 cam
