Default baseline times for bone stock 6.2 Sierra crew cab

Made it out to the track yesterday afternoon to get a baseline on my new Sierra that just turned 1k miles on it. The weather was decent with temps in the 70's. I showed up there like I drive it everyday on the street, ie... full weight, trailer hitch, speaker box, car seat, etc...

1st pass... pulled abs fuse. Nailed the gas and it blew the tires off right away, got out of it all the way and got back in it. When I got to around the 1000ft mark the top speed limiter kicked (91mph) and kept that speed to the finish line.

2.32 60'
9.55 1/8
75.54 mph
14.75 1/4
91.50 mph

2nd pass... left the fuse and took traction control off. It left then started barking the tires real bad then stabilitrack kicked in and bogged it horribly. Ended up going low 15's.

3rd pass... took out the fuse again. I eased onto the throttle slowly and when the tires stopped chirping/barking I nailed it and it stuck. Again top speed limiter kicked in at the 1000ft.

2.17 60'
9.31 1/8
76.14 mph
14.46 1/4
90.98 mph

All in all I am very pleased with the truck. I expected it to be in the 14's but not this deep. Plans for it will be the Airaid Jr kit and a tune. Since it runs this great I probably won't even put a magnaflow on it. Hopefully with that alone should get me in the 13's.

Nice runs, and a good baseline. Is your truck 2 or 4 wheel drive?

The 6.2 6speed is such a good combo. What gears you got?

Thanks everyone.

It has 3.73's and yes this engine in a rcsb would be awesome, can you say 12's with sticky tires. I'd like to put the 3.5" 5x11 22" long case magnaflow on it but I'm afraid it will be too loud. Maybe I'm just getting old and I have a race car if I want to make noise lol...

That sounds pretty fast for a stocker! Nice runs. I wonder what a set of drags would do for you with that ABS fuse out..... and the limiter removed of course, ha ha
