It seems like you guys should part out your trucks. I know I'd have a HARD time selling mine and it's not even as radical as your guys'.

 

i am hopeing the internet fame and being in hotrod 4 times along with what i think is a resonable asking price will help me sell my truck. if i can't get what i want out of it then like i said before i am going to turn it into a race truck and go for 8's.

I've actually sorta kinda reached the same place on mine. I think 8s are only a Th400 and a transbrake away, but once I'm into a new transmission, converter and driveshaft, I'm looking at nearly $5K. Another $5K.

So, I've actually been toying with the idea of selling the fast truck and building something lighter, like a '50 F-series with a driveline similar to my smallblock's. 800 hp at 2800 lbs and idles and cruises like a factory ride would be pretty fun, I think.
