Default ALmost but not Quite a 12 sec 1/4 mile :/

This outing I wanted to experiment more with the "stall rpm" and air pressure in my Hoosier slicks last time i went out to HRP on 10/19/07 i had only 21psi in the slicks and I think they where under-inflated for the amount of weight in the rear of the titan.. So this time I tried 25psi and it still grabbed like a **** and got a slightly better 60' and a lot better e.t. and trap speed in warmer weather

THE VIDEO OF THIS TRACK OUTING:

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/4...dc0124e65f.htm

Todays conditions where:
68 to 71f depending on the time of day
35% to 40% humidity
30.28 barometer
41f dewpoint
8-10mph headwind

simply awesome weather just wish it coulda been like 15 degrees colder and woulda been perfect

Run 1 the truck was still in granny mode and had a cruddy trap speed but best e.t. of the day stalled about 2k rpm's

run 2 stalled about 1200-1500 rpm's had the best trap speed of the day ( not to self don't do a smokeshow burnout the slicks tend to grab more and slow down ur 60' lol)

run 3 stalled about 1200 rpms slightly lower mph but good 60'

run 4 was a total fluke i let my damn truck cool down for 2 hrs to get the best n20 pass but the bottle pressure wouldnt hardly budge from 700psi so i said screw it i ran a n/a run and had the bottle warmer on also so i could come right back around and get a n20 run in before leaving..
What made it even more of a fluke was the damn time keeper didnt put my truck into the computer database in time and on my time slip all i got was my r/t and my 60' everything else was blank including the score boards :/

I have the slip but kinda pointless cause all it has on it was r/t and 60' so i didnt bother scanning it..

run 5 was the n20 pass on heatsoaked motor with only barely 900 psi in the bottle after the 1000ft mark i felt it shut off and i was just running rich as a pig for the last few hundred feet on just the motor.. that is the reason for the subpar trap speed.. but to see the tru potential LOOK AT THE 1/8TH MILE E.T. AND THAT TRAP SPEED WOW!! Woulda surely been a 12 sec run had i had a full bottle on a cold motor.. kinda ticks me off now might have to wait till next season for that 12 sec pass

Here is the comparison of the previous best nitrous run at evadale look at the diffrence of 1/8th mile and trap speed for the 1/8th mile man i wish my damn bottle wasnt dead woulda definatly been a record breaker 12 sec run easily...

got vids coming in the next day or 2 also..
stay tuned..

good runs! you got that thing moving well. someone commented on the video page about it shifting late on the nitrous run and to me it almost sounds like its hitting the rev limiter.
