After putting a rod out the side of the block with a 150 shot on the street I got it back together on sat.I got a used shortblock with 3 bad pistons give to me and took 3 of my pistons and made one good motor.new rings and bearings with my topend and shes good as new.
Now for the good news 12.69@107 1.78 60' with some good DA and i was very happy.

 

Ouch!! I thought the new 5.0's had really good (I thought I heard forged?) rotating assemblies? Truck is running strong tho!!

Why did you blow the engine apart? Was your tune crappy or, though faster, do the new 5.0 still suck that bad?
