2000 ecsb 4.8 times ??
my cousins truck 2000 ECSB stepside 4.8 (vin says 4.8) he thinks 5.3 bc thats what they told him when he bought it!!!!!!! and he hasnt taken it to the track yet but he thinks itll run a 14 flat 1/4. Mods are superchips, no cats, borla muffler, tru-trac, 4.56 gears, BB mod. what do you guys think it will run. I say 14.6x MAX

I don't think he will come any ware near that. I know my truck is 4x4, but I need 7 lbs of boost in street trim to run a 14.1. I would guess a 15 flat maybe. Only one way to find out!

What track is he gonna go to. If Red River, I would say 15.5 with those mods and 5.3L. With the 4.8 I would say 15.9-16.3. If he is going south to No problem he should be a little faster. Either way, he is not gonna come close to that, I bet with those mods he doesnt even get a 15.3.

Might do it if it had a big converter, and headers. If you have enough Hp to trap 88-90MPH you can hit a 13.9. I doubt it will happen without a converter, and headers.
