Got back from Austin early so I guess I'd like to take the new truck out tomorrow and see what she'll do. About 650 mi showing now so it's ready. Planning on getting some E85 in Mansfield so it can do it's best when the track opens at 2pm. My 07 4x4 started with a 10.39 but it was on 20's so I opted for 18's this time to keep the tires/wheels at a reasonable weight ~ same as 17's. I'm running it at full weight with a drop in bed liner and a backflip cover so its about an extra 120 or so lbs. Shooting for 9's I'm pretty sure.

Thanks for that info. Reinforces why I bought it. I think that's gonna be the direction I'm headed for a bit until I boost it. I saw a RC on You Tube that ran a 13.89 bone stock and a 13.53 with a Flowmaster only he says. I do see that the exhaust could benefit from a cat back and of course I am going to get a tune. Looking at intake options also. That will probably be about it at least until summer. On a side note I averaged 22mpg to Austin @ 75-85 and 20 back @ 80-90 mph. Happy so far!

It was Sunday afternoon not Friday lol. Met a couple of really nice guys and it wasn't crowded at all. I got to run a 14 SS Camaro 6spd manual...caught me at 3/4 track and an SRT8 Challenger that caught me at 3/4 track. SRT8 on another run, he got me after 1/2 track on his best and my worst run. Kind of made me realize again the value of 4wd on the street because the track was very sticky! BTW this thing needs a TUNE badly!!! The torque management KILLS the engine for eternity going to 2nd and 1/2 that long going to 3rd. If it wasn't for the dead band between shifts it would've cracked 8's.

Thats amazing times man! You are basically running what my truck runs but I had to swap in an Lq9 to get there! Nice platform to build on I would say plus much better gas mileage than my truck gets. These new trucks are nice!
