Thanks man. Looks like Im going back on the 27th with a few more mods. Putting my 36lb injectors on it, reflashing the ecu and putting a nx proton kit on it. Probably rock a 100shot that day. Hoping for some low 12s. Thatll have to do for now. Im to scared to run a 150 shot on a fogger nozzle. Especially on my 91 octane tune. Who knows maybe Ill nut up and rock some 110 octane and stray a 150 shot LOL

Do you have any pictures of your dyno chart? I'd really like to see it.

Yea I mean i have no doubt that your stock injectors arent keeping up. hell I ran out of my stock injector with bolt on mods only with my LQ9. You are also giving up a little on the top end, but probably not as much as you think. I could see maybe 10 HP around 6k, but honestly I wouldnt expect that cam to carry all the way to 6500 anyway. Spinning it that high you will definitely see some gains from the 87mm intake

Do you have any pics of your Exhaust? im looking to do a 3.5" side exit myself... is yours before the rear tire also?

Side note, you shouldnt be hitting 3rd gear until almost 90MPH depending on your shift point... is that the case? And yes, its such a long gear with 3.73's that I'm sure it doesn't feel all that strong.

sorry this double posted somehow...

Another thing though, density Altitude is more important that the actual elevation. Do you know the exact time you ran at? You can plug it into an online calculator to get more info on air density.

Ya it was around 2500-2700ft when I ran that day. Im shifting at 6300 and just ran it up that day for the dyno. My buddy has my exact same setup and his made 384whp with 36lb injectors. His hits peak at around 5700 and only falls off a touch to 6400. when I say it falls flat in 3rd I mean it falls WAYYYY flat. Definitely goin lean and pullin timing. I think the injectors will help a lot. My 3.5 inch is just before rear tire. Short 3.5 pipe to muffler and then it 45s shortly after muffler and keeps that angle to the back tire. Didn't wanna put a 90degree turn in it. This truck gained almost 10whp goin from 3in to 3.5in piping. These motors like flow.

Nitrous will be here soon and hopefully it runs strong on it the 27th.

The thing to remember is when you shift into 3rd you're now at 4000 RPM maybe... there is no fuel starvation going on at that RPM.

No I don't but there any many of youtube. Just search tr220 cammed Silverado or similar. But its pretty quiet in a 6.0l. it sounds mean as shiat in the 4.8 and 5.3 but the 6.0 soaks it up. Still sounds good but texas speed was really pushing the 224/228 on me if I wanted a good mid/top cam without losing much bottom that gets you the sound to. They told me I would be disappointed in the sound of the 220/220 in my 6.0 and now I see what they were talking about. Barely sounds cammed. If I had to do it over would I do the same cam? For power I do love the curve but wish it had more sound. No low end lost or gained with about 50-60whp across mid-top. they told me I would have lost about the same down low 5-10whp that gained that much more up top so 55-65whp and a meaner sound. So the answer is yes I would have probably done that cam to begin with, but to me the its not worth it at this point and Im loving my current power curve on that street. still has that low end 6.0 hit I love down low and pulls like a **** up top

My suggestion is for the street do this cam especially in a lower compression lq4. If you have milled heads for higher compression and a stall over 3k the next cam up may be a good choice. Hope this helps.
