Have ran a 3000 and a 3400. I have stepped up every trans I blow up, on my third this year and second built. The 4k is actually a bit big for my current cam it bypasses the peak TQ on the recoveries by 600 RPM, I smell a larger cam! lol

I saw your thread, your next mod should be 4.10's without a doubt. You will still have plenty of gear on the street too, I have fun on the street with mine too if I get traction... Work on that 60 foot and get into the mid 13's.

Now those are bad *** times.. makes me wonder if ill get into the 12 on my 8.29 1/8 mile pass.. I think I might step it up to the 4k converter soon... Congrats

13.53 was my fastest time with the 3400.

Sounds like low 13's to me. Upping the 4k slowed down my MPH just a bit and make me cross the traps at a higher RPM to to the 10% or so slip. But it puts so much more power to the ground and my ET's reflect it.

Not sure exactly what cam I will be moving to. I do know this, it will be the largest cam that is in a stock bock Ram.

The converter is not to bad on the street either, this is my daily but most that I have let drive it hate it.
