Thanks guys Im just keeping my fingers crossed the transmission will hold out a little while longer

Yes stock suspension, with the front end strapped down. Some day Im going to try running in 2wd with cal-tracks, and 30'' ET streets. I think If I can 60' in the 1.5's in 2wd the truck will go quicker, and pick up some MPH.

What does your truck weigh? Mine cuts 1.5x short times at 4600 lbs race weight and 12.5 psi.

Are you running a aluminum block LS1? My truck is 4900LBS race weight with me, and 3/4 tank of fuel, that was with the hitch removed, I have it back on now. I think I can get it down 100LBS lbs once I sump the fuel tank, and pull the bed liner I have to race with 3/4 of a tank or it starves during the launch. What tire, and wheels are you running?

No there dicks, I only got one full pass then they threw me out. The first two passes I let off at 1/8 mile.

Aluminum block. I can lose 100 lbs by dropping the tail gate and spare. 4wd is adding some weight for you and is costing a ton of parasitic loss. I always thought Parish would go fairly deep into the 9s if his truck was 2wd only. A good set of slicks on the back and some skinnies up front help more than most realize. A friend put some slicks and skinnies on his Supra and went from a 10.4 to a 9.9 without changing anything else.
