1/4 Wheel? 17s on
#1
Ok I figured I would throw the stockers back on for the hell of it and see how much difference there was at the track. The weight difference between my 20's and stock 17's is 17lbs per wheel tire combo. Any ideas on how much of a difference this will make?

lets see..... 17 * 4 = 68 * 7 = 476 lbs effective weight so I would say .476 Provided the traction stays the same.... not very likely...
my drag radials did not really help my 60s all that much ( my best vs my best on street tires.. ) most of the time I would get 2.05 60s with the drag radials but they weighed 14 lbs more than my street 17s so my times dropped by 2 tenths and my MPH dropped about 1.5...... my best 60 on the street 17s were also 2.0s by leaving the line at idle and feathering the throttle... but my 60s were so inconsistant.. now I will continue to run the DRs as my consistancy is so much better with them...
