Well guys, just can't seem to figure out the prob w/ the NOS so it was an all motor nite but I ran a new N/A personal best.... E/T that is... 13.89 @ 94.89 and a N/A best 60' of 1.948. This was with the Nitto Drag Radials which made my new personal best ET all the better as I lost about 2 tenths with them over my street tires.
If I had keept my street tires on I bet I could have gotten 13.70's.... never know.. the DRs are so much more consistant that I will not run the street tires any more..
You can see at the mph in my sig compared to my time above how much the DRs slow me down as far as MPH...
Race weight is about 4670. Maybe.... I have reason to suspect the scales at the track.

Great times! However, I'm confused (I know, what else is new?) You say you ran a new n/a best and that the Nitto's are more consistent than the street tires but you think you could have run faster with the street tires? Is that what I'm reading?

LOL... as strange as it sounds that is correct... I could run faster with the street tires because they only weigh 55 lbs per wheel tire combo compared to 69 lbs for the drag radials.... The drag radials are more consistant as they are spinning very little, if any. I had to leave the lite at an idle with a slow feather to keep from blowing the tires away. You really need the time slips side by side to see the difference... 1.948 60' on the drag radials vs. a 2.01 60' on the street tires.... but a 94.86 mph on the DRs vs a 96.20 on street tires... I am ETing faster because of my 60's but I am really loosing about 2 tenths and 2 mph with the DRs over the street tires with Density Altitudes being the same. NOW once the N2O comes into play there will be no comparison as the street tires will spin all the way down the 1/4...

Really hope That cleared things up cause my head....

Yep, that does. So the magic combo is to get the street tires to hook like the DR's. You could have your cake and eat it too!!

Thankx Colt... I am going slow on the N2O ( as far as the size of the shot anyway ) ... slower than I would like really, here in Baytown there is NO one left to fill your bottle... really a drag.... they say you can get it filled at the track but I have not seen it yet... Got the 50 pills in it now. If I can get it to work the next time out, before it warms up, I want to see just how close I can get to the 12's with just that.
