Default hmmmmm.......WTF!!!!!

ok don't know is this isthe right place or not but here goes.

so my check engine light came on yesterday. truck idles just a little rough, but when i take off, even easy, it starts to shake. and today on my way home from work, whenever i would get on the gas, get off it, then get back on, it would feel like it wanted to shake the truck apart. i have no idea what it could be. truck is a 98 ram 1500, 318 with almost 169k. any help appreciated.

thats just an online guess after you explained the symptoms. i cant tell you 100% that its an injector, but it souns like the problem to me. go to a local parts store and get the code to see exactly whats going on. then go from there

Yeah, some part is giving out. I'd get it checked out, an injector, for example could lead to a lean condition.

if it is an injector, try running barrymans b-12 through it, and if that dosnt worrk take the injectors off the fuel rail and clean them by pouring the b-12 into it and by cleaning it externally with a rag. Could be a $3 fix.
