Sorry I have no info for you. Just thought I'd say hi from another Austinite and give your thread a bump.

Cheers,
Larry

The 260 works well by itself. If you have a splitsecond or smt6 piggyback, the 268 can be tuned. Don't even think about the 273 until SCT has custom programming avail.

The 260 yields good results from just dropping it in. If you've got the patience and know how to tune go ahead and get the 268, the sound alone is worth it. The 268 makes still makes peak power at less than 6000 rpm's so there's no need to worry about running out of rpm's with the factory governor. Be sure and tell him to get 16 of the 6.1 hemi exhaust springs. DON"T use the comp 918 beehives in the hemi. The factory 6.1 springs are cheaper and nobody has had any problems with breaking them. There's countless people that have had spring failures with the 918's in the hemis, including myself.

I'm just running the cheapo Hedman longtubes. I like the fact that they have 1 5/8" primaries vs 1 3/4" for all others. I'm thinking about chopping the 2 1/2" collector off and stepping up to a 3", but I haven't decided yet...

I don't remember. Either Summitt or Jegs. I think it was Jegs, but it's been about three years.
