Default 1/4 times for RCSB '05 Hemi 2wd?

Might be buying my dads truck with under 5k miles (garage queen). Just curious what these trucks run stock?

Absolutly!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's been dynoed to give about 12 hp and 12 tq but that's not how it helps. It's the trans tuning and the reduction in torque management where it helps the most. On my 04, the SC lowered my 0-60 and 1/4 times by .5 seconds. It just makes the truck drive so much better, like it should drive when you buy it. Stock, the trans is VERY slow to down shift under moderate pedal pressure, you have to mash the pedal to get it to downshift when you're chugging up a hill. With the SC, the downshifts happen so much quicker and under alot less pedal pressure. My truck will actually chirp second gear on the 1-2 shift with it's open differential at WOT. You can also raise the shift points and adjust the speedo for other than stock tires. It should be you're #1 mod. The stock exhaust and intake on the Hemi egine are pretty good. The SC will give better performance than a cat-back and CAI combined.

get a custom tune instead, it might cost a little more but it will be worth it.

FROM who? That's good advice, if it were true.

Yep, don't think anyone has a custom tune yet. Superchips, Bullydog and Hypertech are the only options I believe. I had a Hypertech, it sucked. The Superchips is great and I've heard good things about the Bullydog tuner but have no personal experience with it.

The BG works well on the later trucks not on the 03 though. I'd wait till you at least got a cam in to do a BG though and then get it for the cam and whole combo.
