Default Shaking when slowing. Help please!!

My truck started shaking when I am slowing down to stop. I am pretty sure its coming from the rear of the truck. It only starts it at about 30 mph and does it until I get stopped. It feels like I am driving over rumble strips. I thought maybe it was the rotors that needed to be turned. So I had that done yesterday, and it still does it. Anyone else have this problem? Its a 03 Dually. Now I am starting to think its something inside the rear. Any help is appreciated.

Wouldnt the steering wheel and brake pedal shake if the front rotors were warped? I actually just got done greasing up the rear u-joints and that seemed to help the issue but didnt fix it. So I guess I will be replacing them next.

No, just the entire truck.

get all of the rotors resurfaced,
check the parking break pads, make sure that they're not dragging.
Get your tires rebalanced.

Had the same issue in my 99. Had Dodge replace all the front suspension components under warranty and the issue was fixed. Most people with this problem seem to think the front ball joints are the culprit

I've got an '03 6 speed Crew Cab Dually with 49,000 miles that had a similar problem. When I would come to a stop the truck would shudder really bad. To make a long story short it turned out to be a bad drive shaft carrier bearing. The stealership replaced the entire two piece driveshaft assembly including the center carrier bearing under warranty. I think that was overkill, but no cost to me other than the $100 deductible.
