Default New Motor?

I heard from a friend last night that Dodge is going to put a new, bigger Cummins engine in the trucks next year. Something like a big 6 liter (6.6L, 6.7L) or something? Thats what the guy said anyway... Dunno how reputable the info is tho. Any of you guys heard anything about this?

Nope, cummins is actually making an 8.0L common rail, but it will only be found in medium duty trucks.. Cummins is actually on its way over to Ford, and will be replaced by the Mercedes 5 cylinder engine in the new pickups.. Not sure when however..
When it does happen, I may kill myself..

ummm actually there is a new 6.2l cummins coming out in the dodge pickups around '07 or '08. last year dodge and cummins signed a 10 year contract, so no worries on the mercedes for a while. and there has been an 8.0l isb cummins just as long as there has been a 5.9l and the hpcr engine is nothing new, its been available in tractors and big trucks.
