Default No back up lights

Help guys, Just picked up a 97 Chevy Z71 today, well when arriving at home, I was backing it into the driveway when my brother told me I have no back up lights. We made sure it was in gear properly, no slack. What wires, etc. do I need to check. Thanks for helping.

Yes, We checked the bulbs....lol

I went out in the daylight today to try again. Checked all fuses under hood and in dash with no luck. 3rd brake and reverse do not work at all. Reg brake works but no reverse lights. Hazards do not work but have turn signals.

HELP!!!!

Check the park neutral safety switch, I know it has something to do with reverse lights.

Get a tester, have someone put the truck in reverse and check the sockets to see if you are getting power even to the socket. Then check the wires about an inch infront of the socket. Work your way to the box where your main harness comes back and splits to pass and drivers side and trailer harness. If you have a trailer harness on it already, check the reverse terminal on it and that will give you another reference for checking.
